Jenny spent her early childhood in Morelia, Michoacan, her mother’s homeland in Mexico. She spent the last 21 years living in Tucson, Arizona where she grew up and developed a deep love and appreciation for the beautiful Sonoran Desert.

She is most thankful to her mother and her cultural roots for the faith instilled in her spirit and moral compass. Jenny leads with her heart and is a firm believer in God’s soul purpose for each of us. She knows that God shapes our character through the experiences and hardships life presents us with, and that we are meant to take our lessons in stride, in order to help those who cross our path. Jenny especially applies this loving kindness to youthwork, where she strives to be a social and emotional support to the kids and families she serves.

Jenny is thrilled to be J. Houston’s Side by Side Kids program coordinator - She aims to lead by the example that every child is ONE caring adult away from being a success story!
